◆ A Research design could be defined as the blueprint specifying every stage of action in the course of research.
◆ Research design is the arrangement of conditions of collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economy in procedure.

Definition of Research Design:-
Research design is the plan, structure and strategy of investigation conceived so as to obtain answer to research question and to control.

Research Design would help to answer the following:-
 What is the study about?.
● Why is the study being made?.
● Where will be study be carried out?.
● What type of data and where it would be collected?.
● What is the period of study?.
● Whether any sample would be used?.
● What type of analytical tools will be used?.
